The lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, on Tuesday appeared in court for another case by security operatives, days after he was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS).

Ababribe was brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, over his suretyship for the missing leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

The court had asked him to show cause alongside two other sureties for the self-styled leader, why they should not forfeit the N100 million bail bond they signed to effect Mr Kanu’s bail.
