The All Progressives Congress (APC) has insisted that there is no faction in their party, despite the emergence of the group called Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC).
This comes after the group Wednesday announced itself at a press conference held in Abuja.
In a statement by the party’s spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi, the APC has stated that by their actions, this group has attempted to create the impression that “our Party is factionalized and This is not true”.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) wishes to affirm that there is no faction in our Party and declares the action by these individuals as mischievous and ill-advised.
According to the chairman, Buba Galadima, of the R-APC, the new faction was formed due to the failure of the APC.
He described APC as “severely underperforming and unable to meet its potentials for good governance.”
