Buhari Meets With APC Senators • Channels Television

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday evening, held a meeting with senators elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The meeting was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Although details of the meeting is not yet disclosed, the meeting is coming barely 24hours after the lawmaker’s defection hit the APC caucus in the two chambers of the National Assembly.

14 senators and 37 members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday announced their defection from the ruling APC, to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
