The family of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Idris Kutigi, has announced the date for his burial ceremony.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, it disclosed that the body of the late jurist would arrive in Abuja from London on Wednesday morning.
The former CJN would be laid to rest later in the afternoon at the Gudu Cemetery Abuja, after Janazah prayers at the National Mosque Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory.
“Fidau prayers will take place on Thursday at 10am at the residence of the late jurist in Asokoro Abuja.
“The Fidau prayers will also take place simultaneously at the Etsu Nupe’s Palace in Bida and in Kutigi, Niger State,” the statement added.
Justice Kutigi died on Saturday night at a hospital in the United Kingdom, after a protracted illness.
