Leaders of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and delegates of the Federal Government are expected to meet today at the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja.
The meeting is scheduled to hold after last week’s meeting by the striking lecturers and the Federal Government which ended with no resolution.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.

The lecturers embarked on industrial action on November 5, accusing the Federal Government of failing to implement the key areas of focus contained in a memorandum of action signed in 2017.
Some of the issues and demands by the lecturers include better funding of Nigerian universities, implementation of previous agreements, earned academic allowances, salary shortfalls and pension matters
