Organizers have announced that teams taking part in this year’s AITEO Cup competition will share the proceeds from the turnstiles, after the host Football Association must have deducted twenty percent (20%) of the takings for organization and logistics.
Speaking in Abuja on Tuesday, deputy chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mallam Shehu Dikko told thenff.com that this regulation will be in place right from Wednesday’s Round of 64 matches, and will also obtain for the Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches.
“Once the amount of gate –takings is known, the State Football Association will deduct 20% of the sum, and the remaining will be equally split by the home team and the away team.
