True to type, the All Progressive Congress (APC) maintained its chequered image yesterday, with at least half a dozen states holding parallel congresses and electing two factional state chairmen each.However, the widespread violence and needless blood-letting, which characterised the ward and local council congresses in the last two weeks, were toned down as there were no reports of deaths, only violence and intrigues in parts of the country.
