Legendary rapper, Lil Wayne has kept fans waiting for years as to when he will drop his much-anticipated album, Tha Carter V.
The multiple Grammy awards winning rapper who had earlier promised that he had a “special surprise” for fans at 5 p.m. on Sept. 25, released a three-minute video clip to discuss the album.

The wait is over as he has revealed that the LP will be released when the clock strikes midnight on Friday, September 27, coinciding with his birthday. The rapper is set to turn 36.
In the released video, Wayne is seen hopping out of a Hummer truck with his trusted double-cup in tow, and the camera follows him as he walks into his studio. He said:
