Rihanna Sued For 'Stealing' A Company's Logo

Freedom United Clothing has slammed a lawsuit on international pop star and fashion icon, Rihanna after she used F.U. as a business card for her clothing business.

Freedom United Clothing is, however, firing back at the singer in the lawsuit which claims that it owns the ‘FU’ trademark. According to the company they have used ‘FU’ since 2006.

It would be recalled that Rihanna signed a deal with PUMA where she had the company put F.U. on her sweatshirts, jewellery and sandals, and Freedom United says that’s just stealing.

The lawsuit claims Rihanna is aware there was an existing FU logo because she was photographed in one of their hoodies in 2014 and, even before that, her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown attended Freedom United’s launch party back in 2007.
