Students of Anastasia Comprehensive College, Abule Egba, Lagos, were among beneficiaries from nine schools that participated in the free breast and cervical cancer talk, followed by screening, held at Ojokoro Local Council Development Area. The event was organised by the Inner Wheel, District 911, Nigeria, and presided over by its Chairman, IWM Abimbola Oludotun Shoga.
Shoga explained that the programme, which was designed to incorporate girls and women, was executed in line with Inner Wheel’s theme for the year which is: ‘Empower and Involve’.
