Stephen Urueye, a serving doctor at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), was allegedly killed on Thursday night by suspected robbers who stabbed him to death right in front of the hospital at Idi Araba, Lagos.
Nigerians on social media have reacted to the incident which happened 48 hours after his convocation ceremony at the University of Lagos on Tuesday.
Many have expressed anger at the lack of security in the environment and sent out condolences; all of which have now made the hashtag #JusticeForStephen trend.
