Bamigbetan and his driver were returning from his farm when the accident occurred.

“The driver drove into an armoured carrier on our way from the farm. I was taking a nap in the rear seat,” the commissioner said in a Facebook post.

Bamigbetan sustained visible cuts to his forehead and the car’s front part was extensively damaged. He said his driver ran into the armoured personnel carrier with plate number NPF 8610 C after he dozed while driving.
