Governor of Ekiti State and chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Dr. Kayode Fayemi, is celebrating two years into his second tenure as helmsman. He spoke with some senior journalists in Lagos on issues of development challenges and opportunities in Ekiti and how he has opened up the state as investment destination for big businesses. He harped also on the tyranny of unfunded mandates as driver of agitation for fiscal federalism, power devolution and providing opportunities urgently for young people, who may have opted out of the country psychologically.
