Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba has called on the church members to consecrate their lives to God like David, who though desired to build the temple, in obedience to God, heartily yielded it to his son Solomon. He said consecrated lives are worth more than material provision and what money could buy or do in the church. He said David made every necessary arrangement and provision to make his son succeed as the house belonged to God.

The Primate, who spoke at the dedication of the magnificent new Cathedral of Christ, Ezihe in Imo State, last week, noted that today, some people would make name for themselves and even hinder God’s work.

Ndukuba, who took his text from 1 Chron. 29:1-5, explained that the church represents people and when people are no longer there, the building ceases to exist likewise its purpose is changed. But when people are there, church will…
