President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians living abroad to shift their mindset towards success and consider returning to Nigeria to settle down.
The president made this appeal during a presidential town hall meeting with Nigerians in the diaspora held in New York on Wednesday.
The event, organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), took place on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
Tinubu stated the need for a change in mindset and urged Nigerians to embrace the abundant business opportunities available in the country.
“I want to give you a measure that will resonate with you. I was once a diaspora. What you have been through, I have been through it. A change of mindset is necessary,” Tinubu said.
