Ms. Bakarat Odunuga-Bakare, Special Adviser to Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Housing, says the state has implemented key measures to tackle challenges in its real estate sector.

Odunuga-Bakare disclosed this while delivering a welcome address at the fifth edition of the Lagos Real Estate Marketplace Two-Day Conference and Exhibitions.

The theme of the conference is “Re-imagining the Lagos Landscape: Ensuring Sustainable Real Estate Development Practices.”

She stated that the measures were implemented under the guidance of the governor.

The special adviser acknowledged the challenges in the sector, which include building collapses, fraudulent practices, and environmental issues, while emphasising the need for urgent and collaborative action.
