Kennedy Boboye has quit his role as head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Plateau United following the expiration of his contract, Completesportsnigeria. com reports.
Boboye spent two-seasons with the Jos club leading them to win a first NPFL title last term.
Plateau United however failed to make an impact this season losing their title to Lobi Stars and exit the Aiteo Federation Cup in the round of 16.
They also failed to make it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League, exiting the competition in the first round.
Boboye previously had stints with Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure and Abia Warriors.
‘‘I have parted ways with Plateau United, my two years contract has elapsed,” Boboye stated in a statement on Fridat.
