Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis has been omitted from Club Brugge 21-man squad for Wednesday’s Belgian Cup clash against Zulte Waregem, reports Completesports.com.
Dennis, 22, picked up a knee injury in Club Brugge’s 2-1 away win against Anderlecht last Sunday and is now expected to spend a couple of weeks on the sidelines.
His international teammate, David Okereke was however named in the squad.
”We are waiting on a scan , to know the extent of the injury,” Club Brugge manager Philippe Clement told a news conference on Tuesday.
Dennis has scored five goals in 16 league appearances for Brugge this season.
