Former Nigeria international Odion Ighalo has admitted that he thought an agreement between Manchester United and his parent club Shanghai Shenhua would not be reached over extending his loan deal, Completesports.com reports.
Ighalo joined United in January from Shanghai Shenhua,but with the deal originally only running until the end of May, there were fears that he would not be at Old Trafford for the end of the season.

With the Premier League set to resume in June after a three-month suspension due to the coronavirus outbreak, United managed to reach an agreement with Shanghai Shenhua to extend Ighalo’s loan until January 2021.
