Joel Obi On Target For Chievo Verona


Nigeria midfielder Joel Obi was on target as Chievo Verona recorded a 2-0 win against Frosinone in their Serie B clash on Monday night , reports

Obi, who was cautioned in the 19th minute, put the home team ahead in the 54th minute.

Emanuel Vignato made the points save with the second goal a minute later.

Obi was replaced by Giovanni Di Noai in the 67th minute.

He has featured in 22 league games for Chievo this season and scored once.

In another Serie B game, Simy Nwankwo played for 30 minute in Crotone’s 1-1 away draw at Ascoli.
