Chelsea have reportedly tabled an offer for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, as Frank Lampard looks to immediately address his crisis in the goal area.
According to reports in Spain Chelsea have already put an undisclosed offer in to Barcelona , in hope of concluding swift business.
But any move will face fierce competition from Bayern Munich, according to Cadena Ser, who say the Bundesliga giants are desperate to bring Ter Stegen back to his homeland as a long term replacement for Manuel Neuer.

Other ‘major European clubs’ are also said to be interested, and monitoring the situation at the Nou Camp with Ter Stegen’s contract quickly running out.
The 28-year-old is yet to reach an agreement with Barcelona regarding an extension of his deal, though is understood to wish to remain in Spain where his family have settled.
