QPR head coach Mark Warburton has revealed that his Nigerian winger Bright Osayi-Samuel is being distracted by the horde of transfer rumours being peddled in the media and linking player to many clubs.
Warburton is psyching up the talented Osayi-Samuel after the right-winger failed to lift his performance in QPR 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest in their matchday-one clash of the 2020/2021 English Championship at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday.
The 22 year old who joined QPR in August 2017 from Blackpool will see out his contract in June 2021, and the manager seems to still very much want the player to stay put till the end.
Osayi-Samuel started the match and was replaced by Paul Smyth in the 90th minute, and Warburton says he didn’t assert himself well in the game sensing mental distraction from the transfer speculations.
