Iwobi Looks To inflict Misery On Fumbling Former Club

Everton’s Alex Iwobi is hoping to follow in the footsteps of a former Gunner,Theo Walcott by scoring against his former side, Arsenal this evening at the Goodison Park and heap more misery on the North London side who looks to be on a free fall.

Walcott scored against Arsenal mid-week in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates stadium between Southampton and Arsenal and Iwobi will be relishing the chance to also score what will be his 13th Premier League goal in 138 appearances and end his 34-game goal drought that spanned over 15 months.

Iwobi has featured twice against Arsenal since the summer of 2019 when he switched the Emirates stadium for the Goodison Park and the Nigerian would not want to remember his first game exactly a year ago at Goodison Park where he limped off after 11 minutes in the goalless draw played before a watching Carlo Ancelotti who had just been appointed as the Toffees boss.
