Nigerian journalists were also barred from entering the stadium.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to face the Squirrels at the Stade Charles de Gaulle, Porto-Novo on Saturday.

Nigeria top Group L with eight points after four rounds of matches, while Benin are second with seven points.
