Parlour Picks Saka Ahead Of Shaw In Personal 26-man England Squad

Ahead of Gareth Southgate’s Euro squad announcement today – Tuesday, May 25, former Arsenal and England midfielder, Ray Parlour,  set expectations high for this

summer’s Three Lions, claiming: “Anything less than the semi-finals would be a massive disappointment.”

Speaking exclusively to, Parlour named the 26 men who he feels should make the England squad this summer as well as his starting XI.

Controversially, the Arsenal legend has entirely left out Luke Shaw in favour of young Gunner Bukayo Saka and snubbed the Spurs trio of Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Harry Winks – Arsenal bias? Surely not!

Other notable inclusions in Parlour’s squad are Leeds United midfield general, Kalvin Philips; and West Ham fans at the Romford Pele’s local will be pleased to hear him include Jesse Lingard and Declan Rice who

Parlour says are worthy of a place in the squad after a great year for

the cockneys.
