Why It Will Be Difficult For NPFL Players To Compete With Eagles’ Overseas-Based Stars -Rohr


Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has disclosed that the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) players doesn’t have what it takes to compete with the team’s overseas-based stars at the biggest stage of the game.

The German tactician made this known while reacting to questions from journalists on why he refused to invite more home based players to the overseas-based stars that will face Liberia and Cape Verde in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

He said: “I hear this question all the time and I give the same question all the time. I take the best players and actually the home based players are not in competition, they stopped it already a few weeks ago.
