Bonfrere To Tutor Anambra Coaches, Says New FA Boss Iloenyosi


A new dawn appears on the horizon for football in Anambra State as the new chairman of the State’s FA, Chikelue Iloenyosi has revealed plans to bring former Super Eagles coach, Bonfrere Jo, to lecture, to update and upgrade the knowledge of coaches in the state for uptime productivity, can exclusively report.

Bonfrere, a Dutch, who was in charge of the U23 Eagles as Nigeria made history in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996, as the first African nation to win the Olympic Games Soccer gold medal after a dramatic 3-2 win against Argentina in the final, will not be alone in Iloenyosi’s ‘train the trainer’ project. Nigerian-born tactician and ex-Flying Eagles and ex-U17 Golden Eaglets gaffer, John Obuh, has also been listed as one of the coaches that will drill the grassroots football coaches in Anambra State.
