England manager Gareth Southgate has showered encomium on his players following the 3-0 win against Senegal on Sunday.
The Three Lions outplayed the African champions in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 contest.
Southgate’s side will now face holders in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
“We know this is a step up from what we’ve had so far,” said Southgate after Sunday’s 3-0 win over Senegal.
