The Officers/Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps are grumbling over the withheld cooperative deductions which has not been remitted to the state cooperative for the past four months.
A reliable source on the ground of anonymity from the National Headquarters, said the cash has been diverted by NSCDC Boss & Civilian Head of Finance and Account to pay the underground recruits which he the NSCDC Boss personal recruited in 2016 & 2017.
The State cooperative is redundant for three good months, no trading, no money to lend to the cooperators. Meanwhile a latter has been sent to the various states that is involve according to the source, that the delay was because of Network or server error and the relocation of their National Headquarters to Sauka which was carried out after two months after they stop remitting money to the cooperating states. It was also gathered from this source in the NSCDC National Headquarters Sauka, that after the court ordered the NSCDC Boss to pay in areas the reinstated ACG Igbiriki, who was embattled and demoted wrongly without the knowledge of the federal government for five years. The NSCDC Boss is yet to obey the court order.
The Officers/Men of NSCDC cooperative is pleading with President Muhammadu Buhari to look into this matter and take necessary action. EFCC should also take Note.. The source said that Underground Recruitment is still going on in NSCDC now, he added people without connection can’t work in this country again.
