How Sowore Promised to Declare June 12 Nigeria’s Democracy Day Before President Buhari Announced It

Sahara Reporters founder and Presidential Aspirant Omoyele Sowore at a town hall meeting held on Sunday 3rd June 2018 at the famous Centenary hall at Ake Abeokuta, promised to declared June 12 as Nigeria Democracy day in honour of Chief MKO Abiola if elected as President in 2019.

Three days later, incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in a swift move announced that June 12 will now be celebrated as Democracy day as against May 29.
Many observers believe the President must have gotten the idea from Sowore who has earlier promised to do same and considering that President Buhari has spent 3 years in power without making any mention of honouring Abiola until Sowore does. Watch the video below….
