Amosun clocks 60, says Ogun’ll continue to break new ground

The Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, says the state will continue to play a pivotal role in sustaining its heritage and breaking new ground.

He said this on Thursday when he inaugurated the Ogun State Television on DSTV Channel 260, at the ceremony held within the station’s Ajebo Road complex, Abeokuta.

The governor, who clocked 60 years on Thursday, also did the groundbreaking ceremony of the proposed ultra-modern studio for the OGTV.

Amosun, who commended the initiative of the first civilian governor of the state, the late Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, for establishing the TV station on December 25, 1981, noted that his administration would continue to preserve such initiatives and add new innovations.
