President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged not to see former President Olusegun Obasanjo as an enemy based on the former’s recent letter to him but to take the issues he raised as a challenge to prove political pundits wrong in 2019.
The National Coordinator for Buhari Solidarity Movement, Ovo Ofigo, who stated this in a statement to SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday, said if Buhari desired a second term, he should take issues addressed by Obasanjo in the letter seriously.
Obasanjo had in the letter advised Buhari not to seek reelection while accusing him of nepotism and failure of revive the economy among other things.
Ofigo, who disagreed with Obasanjo that Buhari should not seek reelection, noted that Buhari should see the Obasanjo’s letter as an opportunity for him to succeed.
