Kwara United supporters have called for the sacking of the struggling Ilorin Premier League club coach John Obuh.
Obuh was during the week handed a three-game ultimatum by the Kwara State Government-owned outfit, who are 19th in the 20-team league, to save his job
At a stakeholders’ meeting organised by the club in Ilorin on Wednesday, the supporters called for the former Flying Eagles manager to be fired, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Chairman of Kwara United Fans Club Oluwatoyin Oniye said Obuh was only good at coaching clubs in the lower leagues.
“We must sack our coaching staff now. Our coach cannot manage clubs at the Premier League level,” NAN quoted Oniye as saying.
“He coached IfeanyiUbah, Niger Tornadoes and Rangers and failed. So, this is evident that he cannot take us anywhere.’’
