Is the proposed death penalty for hate speech appropriate?

It is not appropriate. We have so much in our hands as a nation than to cause further complications.

The dictionary definition of hate is straightforward. Hate speech is hatred expressed using words. Hate itself is a very strong feeling of dislike. When you look at certain dictionaries, there are two definitions: One says intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger or sense of injury. That is hate itself and when you are in that condition, the expression of it is what is called hate speech.

Another definition is extreme dislike or apathy, if you now want to punish someone based on hate speech, the tendency is that, you become partisan because if you look at it, it is inherent in human beings. It is an innate behavior which we have to tolerate if we do not want to play God. Hate speech must be tolerated unless if you want to play God. But we need to abide by what…
