AUGAPOL berates Buhari for kidnap, return of Dapchi schoolgirls

A civil society group, Activists United against Graft and Anti-People’s Policies, have slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for his administration’s handling of the kidnap and return of 105 female pupils of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, by Boko Haram.

Describing the development as a “poorly scripted drama” by the All Progressives Congress-led federal government to score a cheap political point ahead of the 2019 general elections, AUGAPOL said that rather than celebrate, the Buhari administration should cover its face in shame for the embarrassment it had caused Nigeria in the eyes of the international community.
