What are some of the fond memories you can recall of your childhood?
I recall playing with my friends round the estate where we lived. I used to love riding the bicycle, even if I had to be placed on it. We also used to have ‘banger night’ that was organised by the children to play with firecrackers. Those are some of the fond memories of my childhood that remain with me.
At what age did you realise that you have cerebral palsy?
I think I have always known because there were certain things I couldn’t do that everybody else in my house could do. However, I think I came to a clear consciousness about it around the age of five.
