The United States Commercial Service in Nigeria in collaboration with a US cyber-security company, McAfee Incorporated, has emphasised the need for organisations to protect their critical digital assets.
During a breakfast seminar organised for cyber-security experts and corporate end-users in Lagos, the American computer security software firm also announced the launch of its Enhanced Unified Defence Architecture designed to empower organisations to effectively protect their digital assets.
The Commercial Attaché, US Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria, Ms. Jennifer Woods, explained that the programme aimed to support Nigeria’s rapidly growing digital economy.
According to Woods, having effective and proven solution against growing cyberattacks is a critical aspect of any corporate Information Technology infrastructure.
