Iconic outfits of late Diana to join ongoing fashion exhibition – Punch Newspapers

The iconic outfits of the late princess of Wales, Diana, are to be part of the fashion exhibition taking place in Kensington Palace, London.

The exhibition, named ‘Diana: Her Fashion Story’, opened in February, 2018.

One of the  iconic outfits to be exhibited is her “landmines” outfit, with an Armani chinos and a sleeveless blue denim shirt, which she wore during her high profile visit to Angola in 1997.

Other outfits that will also be showing include; a glamorous, purple Versace gown worn by the princess to a Chicago fundraising gala in aid of cancer charities, and the pink Bellville Sassoon suit she wore to board the train on her way to her honeymoon in 1981.

A Victor Edelstein evening gown worn for an official portrait by Terence Donovan in 1986 and a tartan day dress by Caroline Charles also made the list.
