The Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris, has called on Police officers’ wives in the Federal Capital Territory to be alive to the unique role of influencing the lifestyle of their husbands.
He said this in a statement issued by Head, Press and Public Relations, Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. Oise Johnson, on Thursday in Abuja.
Idris made the call when he received the leadership of the Police Officers’ Wives Association , FCT chapter.
He said they could play their role by moulding the attitude, conduct and ways of life of their husbands.
He commended them for having the well being of their husbands, both serving and retired, at heart by striving to improve their living conditions through the projects they embarked upon.
Idris said their projects were part of nation building and contribution towards national development.
