A Nigerian-born German legislator, Mr. Eddy Duru, has taken the crusade against illegal overseas migration to schools in Anambra State.
He said his trip would take his organisation, RARDUJA, to 14 institutions comprising 10 secondary schools; two churches and two universities across the country this year.
Addressing the students of St John’s of God Secondary School, Awka and Comprehensive Secondary Schools, Nawfia in Awka South and Njikoka Local Government Areas of the state on Friday, Duru said the misconception of going abroad for greener pastures had ruined many Nigerians.
Duru who is the President and founder of RARDUJA International, called on Nigerians and other Africans to avoid the bid to migrate to Europe illegally .
He noted that thousands of Africans, especially Nigerians had lost their lives; got enslaved and some others got their organs…
