TV watchers must have been spoiled for choice last week Saturday, May 19, 2018. Not so much because there were too many programmes to keep up with, but just in the grandness of the main event. There were two huge events, at least, which though different in scope, were nearly as life-changing.
First was the long-awaited royal wedding between American actress, Meghan Markle, mostly popular for the hit legal series, Suits, and Prince Harry, Prince Charles’ second son, whose claim to the British throne keeps shifting. He may have started higher up on the succession ladder but the more children his brother William has, the further down the ladder Harry goes. Not that this bit should concern a typical TV watcher.
And for football lovers, last Saturday’s FA Cup final between Chelsea FC and Manchester United might have been the perfect end to a romantic day, especially if you are a…
