The Peoples Democratic Party, Bayelsa State chapter, described the erstwhile Commissioner for Youth Development in the state, Mr. Ibarakumo Otobo, as an ingrate, for defecting to the All Progressives Congress.
Otobo and his army of supporters, who are mainly youths, dumped the PDP for the APC after he had last Wednesday resigned his appointment with the Seriake Dickson administration with immediate effect.
Apart from Ibarakumo and his supporters, a former Director, Centre for Youth Development, representing Nembe Local Government in Dickson’s administration, also defected with his supporters to the APC.
In reacting to Otobo’s resignation and defection, the PDP in a statement by its state Chairman, Moses Cleopas and the Secretary, Keku Godspower, described the former commissioner’s decision as a show of ingratitude and should be condemned by all right…
