‘No Osun land for FG ranches’ – Punch Newspapers

The Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has said the state will not cede any of its land to the Federal Government for the proposed cattle ranches.

The governor, in an interview with our correspondent in Osogbo, stated that the state had already established a ranch in Oloba community, adding that the Federal Government was free to key into this project.

Aregbesola, who spoke through his media aide, Mr. Sola Fasure, said plans were ongoing to build ranches in each of the three senatorial districts in the state by the state government.

He said, “Osun has its own ranch in Oloba, Iwo and a programme to set up ranches in the three senatorial districts in the state. The Oloba cattle ranch is already functioning by providing cattle ranching and ram-fattening services.
