Don’t play politics at family’s expense, Adebule tells women – Punch Newspapers

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Idiat Adebule, has called for more women participation in politics, urging women not to, however, let politics affect their domestic obligations.

She said while it was important for women politicians to work for their party, they must also ensure that their homes did not suffer.

Adebule pointed out that it was only when women devote quality time to the upbringing of their children that such children would turn out well.

The deputy governor said this on Thursday during the inaugural meeting and thanksgiving service of the Lagos State All Progressives Women Forum, which held at the APC secretariat in Ogba, Lagos.

She called on the female APC members not to relent in their support for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration to ensure victory in next year’s election.
