A Twitter user, Jude Umoru Skones has been generating substantial reactions to his tweets highlighting how Nigerian families allegedly destroy romantic relationships.
From religious, social to ethnic reasons, Skones with handle, @perfectskones revealed how his uncles “talked him out” of a relationship with an older woman from Kaduna. He also revealed how people from his tribe frown heavily on marrying from other tribes on the basis that they are ritualists and other reasons.
Since his tweet went viral, there have been lots of other Twitter users, who have been sharing their experiences and the instructions, they got from their parents regarding relationships, marriage, tribe and religions.
