Police arrest embroidery designer for stealing – Punch Newspapers

A 24-year-old embroidery designer, Nurudeen Sulaiman, has appeared before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly conspiring with others to steal from a construction site.

Sulaiman was tried on two counts of conspiracy and robbery.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, told the court that the accused conspired with others still at large to rob a secondary school under construction in June 2018 on Egbe Road, Ejigbo.

He said the accused and his gang members made away with electrical cable valued at N1.5m from the secondary school under construction.

The site project manager, Oludare Onayinka, said the accused accessed the site through an adjoining building.

The prosecutor told the court that the case was reported at the Ejigbo Police Station.
