With the ambush of a military convoy at the Boboshe village in Bama LGA of Borno State a recently, it makes me wonder if the government has totally surrendered to this sect.
While I will not ignore the efforts by the government to stop this terrorist group, the Boko Haram sect has given rise to a lot of negative happenings in the country. Lots of families have been displaced, food supply disrupted and this has increased the state of unemployment in the country. Most people cannot travel or live in the North-East because of the level of insecurity there.
I remember the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, informed Nigerians that Boko Haram had been defeated and we shouldn’t be worried about them. Why then are they still killing Nigerians?
