The Ondo State Police Command has arrested the policemen that allegedly assaulted a male beautician, Omobola Victor, over roasted yam.
PUNCH Metro had reported that some policemen attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the command assaulted victor over roasted yam.
Victor was reportedly with his fiancée when he was accosted by the gun-wielding cops in the NEPA area of Akure, Ondo State.
PUNCH Metro had reported that the cops wanted to buy roasted yam, which victor had also come for when he was allegedly harassed for staying where they were.
It was gathered that the cops have been invited to the command and detained.
Victor, who spoke to our correspondent on the telephone, said the cops were invited and their statements were taken.
