Players tackle IfeanyiUbah over salaries – Punch Newspapers

Players of  Premier League club IfeanyiUbah have threatened to go on strike if their salaries are not paid by the club. The domestic league has been on break since early July.

Our correspondent learnt that IfeanyiUbah  have allegedly  not  paid the players  for seven months.

“The situation at the club is what we all know. The players are  being owed seven months’ salaries  each and they have complained to the management to no avail,” the source said.

In a letter to the club management, the players  told the Nnewi side  pay them their salaries before Friday.

The letter signed by 25 players read, “We the players of IfeanyiUbah Football Club wish to notify the management of the club that starting from  August 16 to  August 24, 2018, if all our salaries or a minimum of four months are not paid, any action we take should not be seen as capable of…
