An aluminium fabricator, Ibrahim Odulana, has been arraigned for cultism and possession of firearms before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court.

The 30-year-old was arraigned alongside his friends, Abiodun Quadri and Ahmed Alagbe, on three counts of cultism, breach of peace and unlawful possession of firearms.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Odulana was arrested by the police after he allegedly threatened his uncle with a gun for sending him out of the house.

In his statement to the police, the Ogun State indigene said he was under the influence of alcohol.

He said, “I had a problem with my uncle because he sent me out of the house. Based on that, I went to get myself drunk.

“Before I knew what was happening, I had brought out a gun to threaten him. The gun was given to me by one Big Hammed. He gave me the gun with six cartridges to keep for him five months ago.”
